Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy
Cancelled orders
For cancelled orders all card processing fees, shopify fees and/or Afterpay fees are non-refundable, unfortunately we don’t get refunded these in the event of a cancelled or refunded order
We accommodate any cancellation requests, however if the item has been packed and shipped it will then fall under returns
What we don’t refund
- Credit & debit card processing fees, shopify and Afterpay fees are non-refundable
- A re-stocking fee of 15% may be charged.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable (For all shipped items, or once scanned into courier network)
Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at simon@maxfab.co.nz, include photos of the damaged item if required, alternatively, explain reasoning for return and we will discuss potential resolutions,
If your return is accepted you will need to return your items at your own cost, we can arrange courier label and to collect, this cost is deducted from the refund amount

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom made or cut to length items, this includes tube.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or clearance
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Please note, the refund amount will be minus any re-stocking and Shopify card processing fees.
